RentGuarantor Holdings PLC
(the "Company" or "RentGuarantor" and including its subsidiaries, the "Group")
Trading Update
RentGuarantor (AIM: RGG), a leading provider of rent guarantee services, which includes property protection, to tenants and
landlords in the UK1
private rental sector, is pleased to provide an unaudited trading update covering the eight months
ended 31 August 2026 (the "Period"), and an update on the Group's outlook for the rest of the year and into 2027.
Trading performance
· Accelerated operational momentum driving record financial performance
Jan-Aug 2026 Jan-Aug 2025
Revenue £8.45 million £1.48 million
% YoY Period Increase 472%
No. Of Applications 16,889 6,167

Avg. Value of Contracts £1,024 £735
% YoY Period Increase 39%
Adjusted EBITDA £2.77m (£122k)
Adjusted Net Profit/(Loss) £2.87m (£392k)
The Group has continued to deliver strong growth and operational momentum during the eight months
ended 31 August 2026. Revenue increased by 472% to approximately £8.45 million, compared with £1.48
million for the corresponding period in 2025, while revenue for the month of August reached
approximately £3.17 million, representing year-on-year growth of approximately 1,273%.
This growth was driven by a significant increase in customer activity, with applications rising by 174% to
approximately 16,889 and the number of contracts completed increasing by 311% to 8,257. Contributing
to this growth is the number of higher value tenants now applying to have a professional guarantor in lieu
of paying a number of months' rent up front, following the Renters' Rights Act.
In addition to the substantial increase in volumes, the Group continued to achieve growth in the average
revenue per contract, which increased by 39% to approximately £1,024, compared with £735 in the prior
corresponding period in 2025. The average revenue per contract for the month of August 2026 came in at
£1,129, adding to the accelerated revenue.
Importantly, alongside the substantial growth in number of contracts, the Group's current unaudited
claims run rate remains stable at approximately 4% of revenue, in line with the expectations of our risk
policy.
The significant growth in revenue, combined with the scalability of the Group's operating model, has
resulted in a material improvement in profitability. Adjusted EBITDA for the year to date increased to
approximately £2.77 million, compared with an adjusted EBITDA loss of £122,000 (excluding costs
associated with admission to AIM) in the corresponding period in 2025. Adjusted net profit increased to
approximately £2.87 million for the year to date, compared with an adjusted net loss of £392,000
(excluding costs associated with admission to AIM) in the prior period.
· Balance sheet and cash flow
The Group's balance sheet has continued to strengthen, reflecting both the exercise of warrants and significant
growth in operating cash generation since 30 June 2026. This has resulted in the Group's cash position solidifying to
approximately £7.5 million at 31 August 2026, compared with approximately £2.4 million as at 30 June 2026, and
compared with approximately £6 million at 11 August 2026 when the Group reported its interim results.
As we have previously stated, this provides a robust platform to support continued investment in the business and
future growth for 2027 and beyond. The Company is reviewing its capital management framework and will consider
the introduction of a dividend policy as part of its assessment of the Group's full-year results and future capital
requirements.
Outlook
The Board again reaffirms its confidence in the Group's outlook and expects the expansion of the Company's
service offering, sustained structural growth in demand across the sector, and the accelerating scale of
RentGuarantor's partnership network to drive continued strong financial performance to the end of FY2026 and
into FY2027.
Building on the momentum delivered in the first eight months of the year, the Board expects the Company to
deliver a positive performance during the rest of 2026. The Board considers that this is underpinned by the
continued acceleration and expansion of the revenue pipeline, evidenced by a 1,273% increase in revenue year-
on-year from £231,000 in August 2025 to £3.17 million in August 2026, and a 367% increase in daily applications
to 4,611 in August 2026, compared to 987 in August 2025. The Board also expects that the Group will continue to
benefit from the full implementation of the Renters' Rights Act during the third quarter, which has historically
been the Group's strongest trading period.
The Board believes that the combination of accelerating customer demand and expanding commercial
partnerships will result in revenue for the financial year ending 31 December 2026 (FY 2026) being materially
above market expectations2
. The Board also considers that the Group's increasing operational scalability and
improving profitability will lead to the Group's adjusted EBITDA and adjusted net profit for FY2026 being
materially ahead of the market expectations range for the period 3,4
.
It is now the Board's target for the Group to deliver revenues in excess of £14 million and a net profit in excess of
£4 million in 2026. The Board has also increased its target expectations for 2027, and is increasingly confident
that its target of 100,000 contracts by 2029 is becoming more of a reality at current growth rates. Further updates
will be provided as and when appropriate.
Paul Foy, CEO of RentGuarantor, commented: "Building on the momentum generated over the first eight months of the year,
we remain confident in the Group's prospects for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. We are seeing an increasing numbers
of tenants, landlords and letting agents engage with RentGuarantor, whilst our growing partnership network continues to
broaden our reach across the sector. These trends are reflected in August's record performance, with monthly revenue rising
1,273% year-on-year from £231,000 to £3.17 million, and daily applications increasing by 367% to 4,611. Reflecting the
ongoing impact of the Renters' Rights Act and the seasonal strength typically seen in the third quarter, this gives us upscaled
confidence in the Group's growth trajectory.
"I am delighted by our ongoing operational and financial delivery, and I extend my thanks to our brilliant team who have
worked tirelessly to support this growth whilst continuing to deliver an exceptional service for our customers."
